It’s a royal affair at Portman Village hosting a Diamond Jubilee Street Party.
Portman Village is throwing a celebration for the Diamond Jubilie that even the Queen would be proud of. Taking place on Wedesday 30th of May, from 5pm – 10pm, with New Quebec Street and Seymur place both closed to traffic in order to make room for the event, the warm up to the Jubilie Weekend is not one to be missed.
The Villlage will look the part with patrotic bunting lining the shops and restaurants, which will also have their shop windows decorated to celebrate the royal occasion.
Not only will Portman Village look beautiful but there is also a number of intriguing treats in store. Just to whet your appetite we’ll give you a sneak peek of what’s on offer on May 30th:
Zayna restaurant is offering delicious North Indian and Pakistani finger food, Marble Arch News Cafe will be offering sandwiches, muffins and drinks and there will be wine tastings from the wine merchants Philglas & Swigott. If you’re not feeling hungry you can always enjoy the shopping experience that Portman Village offers, for this special event Saltwater fashion boutique is arranging a stall for its new collection of jewellery and Eliska interior design is offering a 15% discount on all stock! But if that doesn’t interest you, there is always the oppurtunity to get a relaxing shoulder and neck massage for only £10 at Lemongrass Boutique Spa!
